Run Walk Interval (“the app”) is designed to keep your data private. We do not
collect, sell, or share your personal information. The app has no user accounts and no servers.
Data stays on your device and in Apple Health
The app works entirely on your iPhone and Apple Watch and with Apple’s Health and Fitness
apps. It does not transmit your data to us or to any third party.
Health & Workouts. With your permission, the app reads and writes
workout data — running workouts, heart rate, active energy, walking/running distance, GPS
route, and body mass — using Apple HealthKit. This data is stored by Apple Health on your
device and is controlled by you. It is never sent to the developer.
Location. With your permission, the app uses your location during a
workout to measure distance and pace and to record your route. Location is used only while you
are working out, and is stored with the workout in Apple Health and on your device.
Motion & Fitness. Used to improve distance and cadence accuracy
during workouts.
Calendar. With your permission, the app can add training-plan events to
your calendar. It has write-only access and never reads your calendar.
Notifications. The app can send local interval notifications. These are
generated on your device.
Apple Watch. Your timers and settings sync between your iPhone and paired
Apple Watch using Apple’s WatchConnectivity. This communication is between your own devices.
No analytics or tracking
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and does not track you
across other apps or websites.
Children’s privacy
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Your control
You can grant or revoke Health, Location, Notifications, Motion, and Calendar permissions at any
time in the iOS Settings app. Deleting the app removes its data from your device; workouts already
saved to Apple Health are managed in the Health app.
